Craft Easy Painting

Photo transfer painting using Deco Pudge

1. Painting the image

-    Mix Olive Green and Leaf Green for a soft tone

-    Apply evenly to the cactus image using a flat taklon brush

-    Let dry completely, then add a second coat

2. Prep the painting board

-    Mix Mustard, Pastel Yellow, and a touch of Magenta

-    Add a small amount of Deco Pudge Matte to the mix for transparency

-    Use an abstract brush to blend across the board

-    Add a touch of Magenta while the paint is wet for warmth

-    Let dry fully, then apply a thin coat of Deco Pudge Matte over the board and let dry again

3. Photo transfer on acrylic

-    Loosely cut around the cactus shape

-    Brush a generous coat of Deco Pudge Matte onto the painted side of the cactus image

-    Coat the painted board as well

-    Place the image face down on the board and smooth out using your fingers

-    Press firmly using the back of a spoon in circular motions

-    Leave to dry overnight

4. Reveal the image

-    Soak the paper with a sponge and water until fully saturated

-    Gently rub in circles to peel away the paper, leaving the ink behind

-    Rinse under running water if needed (do not submerge)

-    Let dry completely

5. Deco Pudge

-    Apply another thin coat of Deco Pudge Matte to seal and bring back contrast

-    Dry with a hairdryer if desired

6. Final touches

-    Stamp a soft magenta moon using a cup or lid

-    Fill it in lightly with a brush for a translucent look

-    Touch up the cactus with green paint if desired

-    Finish with one final coat of Deco Pudge Matte over the entire board
