Make your own hologram slime

Your kids will love our hologram slime project. In this lesson, we show you a quick and easy recipe for creating a sparkling alternative to traditional green slime. We'v mixed Mont Marte Laser Glitter with household items to a create a fun hologram effect.

ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT

Step 1. Adding the Glue.

The first step is to measure out 47 ml of glue. One way to measure the correct amount is to draw a little line half way up the bottle. Pour this into the mixing bowl.

Step 2. Adding the Baking Soda.

Next we need to add 2 teaspoons of baking soda to the glue and mix it thoroughly with a spoon.

Step 3. Adding the liquid laundry detergent.

The next addition to the slime is to add 1 teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent to the mix. As soon as the detergent is added the mixture will thicken up.

Not all laundry detergents contain the same ingredients. So some experimentation may be required.

Step 4. Adding the glitter.

The last step is to add a bottle of Scented Glitter Glue. Mix this thoroughly. Once it thickens to the viscosity of pizza dough, take it out of the bowl and mix it manually. If it is too sticky add another teaspoon of Baking Soda. Continue to stretch and knead it until it turns into the correct consistency. Follow theses same steps to make Strawberry, Green, Yellow, Blue and Purple Slime.
