How to: use moulds on polymer clay

What mould can I use for polymer clay?
Silicone moulds for polymer clay work best, because they’re easy to pop the clay out once you’ve finished and it’ll be a lot easier than a metal mould.

How to use moulds for polymer clay
First condition the clay to make it malleable between your hands. Then, create a ball that is roughly the side of the mould. Press the ball of clay into the centre of the mould and push the clay to the edges.
If you have any excess clay, you can easily scrape it off with a palette knife. Simply pull the sides apart until the clay pops out of the mould and voila your sculpture is complete.
It's that easy! Use this clay technique the next time you’re looking to create sculptures or making jewellery.
