Easy watercolour Easter cards

Drawing outline:

-   Print the outline sheet and cut out the three card shapes (with adult help as needed)

Easter egg paper craft:

-   Shade the back of the egg image with a wax crayon

-   Place it on the watercolour paper and trace the egg shape, marking the fold lines

-   Remove the image and redraw the egg shape darker

-   Use a white wax crayon to draw horizontal lines across the egg

-   Paint the egg with watercolours

-   Start with yellow at the top and transition to blue at the bottom

-   Let it dry, then fold along the marked lines and cut out the shape with scissors

Bunny card craft:

-   Cut out the bunny image and follow the same shading and tracing steps as the egg card

-   Once transferred to your watercolour paper, get out your paints!

-   Start with yellow at the top and transition to red at the bottom

-   Leave to dry

-   Use a white crayon to draw horizontal and vertical lines across the bunny

-   Paint the bunny with an ombre, transitioning from orange to red to blue

-   Let it dry, then fold along the marked lines and cut out the shape with scissors

Hot cross bun craft:

-   Cut out the hot cross bun image and follow the shading and tracing steps as before

-   Use the white crayon to colour in the icing cross on the bun

-   Mix a brown watercolour using yellow, red, blue, and green

-   Paint the bun

-   Let it dry, then use a fine brush to outline and detail the bun

-   Once dry, fold along the marked lines and cut out the shape with scissors
