Coaster DIY: clay puzzle
1. Clay puzzle pieces

- Roll out your Make n Bake Polymer Clay Signature or use a clay press
- Keep the thickness even at around 1.5cm
- Use our printable template or freehand your puzzle shapes
- Cut out each piece carefully
- Smooth the edges with your fingers or a clay tool
2. Baking polymer clay

- Place the pieces on a baking tray
- Bake according to the instructions on the packaging
- Allow them to cool completely
- Lightly sand the surface once baked and cool to create a smooth finish
Tip: Just switch your oven off after baking and allow your clay to cool in there to avoid cracks! Rapid cooling can make cracks in your clay.
3. How to decoupage with napkins

- Choose a decorative napkin and remove the backing layers
- Cut the design to fit each puzzle piece
- Apply a thin layer of Deco Pudge to the clay surface
- Gently place the napkin on top
- Smooth it out carefully to avoid wrinkles
- Seal with another layer of Deco Pudge
4. Final touches

- Allow the pieces to dry completely
- Apply an additional layer of Deco Pudge (Gloss) for a shiny finish or paint the edges gold
Now your puzzle pieces are all done, pop them out on the coffee table, dining space, or kitchen bench! Happy crafting 🎨
